Posts I will miss

Last night I was looking for ideas to write about. I came across the message below:

bellegroveatportconway.wordpress.com is no longer available.

The authors have deleted this blog.

No explanation, just poof!!

I hope the blog is offline because a book is in the works and not some dire calamity. The writing was sharp and informative. I wanted to try the recipes. No. I wanted my daughter to try them and let me be the taster.

Where do all the bloggers go when they are no longer available? (There are quite a few among the blogs I have followed.) 

You left a void.

Dear Family and friends,
I am so sorry to read about Carla’s death. I believe all who followed her work felt we knew her.

Several months ago, a contact through the strickland line asked me how to get in touch with her as he was having difficulty. How sad to lose the knowledge and dedication she brought to her research.

I am so glad I had a chance to buy her large notebook and to correspond with her about the Holly Springs, MS and North Carolina families.

We were fortunate to have her to count on.
